The Ministry of Health Puntland was honored to participate in the Health Policy and Systems Research Conference,a two-day event organized by Somali Institute For Health Research (SIHR),University of Bosaso Garowe Campus, and CADIR , bringing together government institutions, researchers, partners, and the private sector to strengthen evidence-based decision-making in the health sector<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
The Honorable Minister of Health officially opened and closed the second day of the conference, reaffirming the Ministry\u2019s strong commitment to advancing health policy and systems research as a key pillar for improving service delivery and health outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference featured abstract presentations and rich discussions across three key thematic areas:
\u2022 Health Governance & Universal Health Coverage (UHC)
\u2022 Scaling equitable access and quality of RMNCAH-N services
\u2022 Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening health systems, improving service delivery, and ensuring equitable access to quality health care for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
